Descripción del puesto

Purpose :

• Perform the task of receiving merchandise, as well as managing an specific area of products
within the warehouse.

Functions :

• Receive and accept products in the warehouse after proper inspection of the documentation that is required for the item, ensuring that it corresponds to the merchandise received regarding it’s description and quantity.
• Inspect all products entering the warehouse.
• Inspect all entrances of vans, trucks and containers to our warehouse area.
• Complete the indicated documentation, collect, validate, and send the reviewed information to the assigned/corresponding people.
• Give notice of any discrepancy, breakdown or non-conforming aspect in products detected while executing daily activities.
• Maintain inventory accuracy.
• Maintain good product storage and handling practices on a daily basis.
• Communicate any activity or opportunity of improvement that can be implemented in your workplace or general environment.

Requisitos

Academic Level : High School graduate

Experience : 1 year working with similar functions (desirable)

Other requirements :

• Knowledge of storage and inventory control processes
• Knowledge regarding Container inspection
• Microsoft Office (Word and basic Excel)
• Good documentation practices
